Cellular Jail

The Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani, was a colonial prison in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The prison was used by the British especially to exile political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Numerous of freedom fighter had lost their lives in this jail but now it's been considered as historic place and a pilgrimage for all freedom lovers. There were almost 700 singular cells and only one prisoner stayed in one cell so that there is no way of conversation between the prisoners. Prioners were forced to be alone all the time and were tortured in different ways. Now this place has become one of the most visited places due to its historic value.
