Kalapathar beach is a long stretch of white silky sand with big black rocks beside the blue sea. It is located on one corner of Havelock. The beach can get crowded in high season, but if you walk further to the south you will definitely enjoy your alone time. There is a small path through the green jungle, where once was an elephant training camp, but nowadays all you’ll find is a secluded beach. The water is deep enough to swim . There are some rocks and corals so make sure of your safety and take care while going into the water. Kalapathar has few umbrellas and wooden chairs. There is also a small picnic area to enjoy with friends and family. In season locals sell fresh coconuts and mango juices, but there are no other facilities
